Tara Air plane crash: NA chopper carrying 10 bodies lands in Kathmandu from Pokhara (With photos)

KATHMANDU: A helicopter of Nepal Army carrying the bodies of 10 persons who were killed in a plane crash at Sanosware in Mustang district landed at the Tribhuvan International Airport on Monday evening.

All the 22 persons including three crew members died when a Tara Air aircraft crashed in the Himalayan district on Monday.

The plane lost contact with the airport traffic control room shortly after it took off.

The aircraft had taken off for Jomsom from Pokhara at 9: 55 am on Sunday.

Among the deceased, the bodies of 10 persons were brought to Kathmandu today in first phase, Nepal Army spokesperson Narayan Silawal said.
