Civil servants salary increased by 15pc

KATHMANDU: The government has increased the salary of civil servants by 15 percent.

Finance Minister Janardhan Sharma said that the salary of the civil servants has been increased by 15 percent while presenting the budget for the next fiscal year 2022/23  before a joint session of the Federal Parliament on Sunday.

This will come into effect from July next fiscal year.

The government has also given continuity to the dearness allowance through the budget.
