Bharatpur update: 28, 195 votes left to be counted, Dahal ahead of Subedi by 8, 756 votes

KATHMANDU: CPN (Maoist Centre) mayoral candidate Renu Dahal’s victory has been ensured again in Bharatpur Metropolitan City.

With 25, 195 votes left to be counted, Dahal received 39, 416 votes.

Her closest contender Bijay Subedi 30, 660 votes.

Out of 127, 849 votes cast in the Metropolitan City, 99, 644 votes have been counted so far.

Dahal is ahead of Subedi by 8, 756 votes.

The vote counting is underway in Bharatpur 21 and 22.

Dahal is leading in both the wards.
