3 killed, 5 injured in Makwanpur jeep accident

MAKWANPUR: Three persons have died and five others sustained injuries when a jeep they were travelling in met with an accident at Simkhola in Kulekhani of Indrasarowar Rural Municipality-2, Makwanpur on Saturday.

The identities of the deceased are yet to be established.

The jeep (Na 4 Cha 2315) was heading towards Kathmandu from Birgunj when the incident took place at around 5 pm today, said the District Police Office, Makwanpur.

Similarly, the injured have been taken to Hetauda for treatment, police said.

Police said that they are further investigating the case.
