PM Modi’s Nepal visit itinerary made public

KATHMANDU: The Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Thursday made public the itinerary of Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Lumbini visit.

As per the itinerary issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Modi is not scheduled to visit Kathmandu.

The Indian Prime Minister will visit Lumbini, Nepal on May 16 on the occasion of Buddha Jayanti. He is visiting Lumbini at the invitation of his Nepali counterpart Sher Bahadur Deuba.

The will be Prime Minister Modi’s fifth visit to Nepal since 2014.

According to the itinerary, the Prime Minister of India will will attend the special ceremony on the auspicious occasion of Buddha Jayanti in Lumbini.
