Newly-appointed IGPs receive insignias (With video)

KATHMANDU: The newly appointed chiefs of the Nepal Police and the Armed Police Force received their rank of insignias on Monday.

Home Secretary Tek Narayan Pandey conferred the insignias on Inspector General of Nepal Police Dhiraj Pratap Singh and Armed Police Force Inspector General Raju Aryal amid a function in Singha Durbar this morning.

A Cabinet meeting held on Sunday decided to appoint Singh as the Inspector General of Nepal Police and Aryal as the Inspector General of Armed Police Force.

Outgoing IG of Nepal Police Shailesh Thapa Kshetri and IG of Armed Police Force Pushpa Ram KC retired on Sunday after completing 30 years of service period.
