Govt declares public holiday on Tuesday for Eid-al-Fitr

KATHMANDU: The government has decided to grant a public holiday tomorrow on the occasion of Eid-al-Fitr, a religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide, marking the end of Ramadan -the month-long fasting.

Earlier, Muslim Commission Nepal had recommended the government for holiday on the occasion.
