Province Assembly member Keshav Sthapit resigns to become mayoral candidate of Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: Province Assembly member Keshav Sthapit has resigned from his post to become the mayoral candidate of Kathmandu Metropolitan City.

He submitted his resignation letter to Bagmati Province Speaker Sanu Kumar Shrestha.

The Province Assembly Secretariat said that his resignation will be effective immediately from today.

Earlier, Province Assembly member Bijay Subedi had also resigned from his post to become the mayoral candidate of Bharatpur Metropolitan City.
