Singer Adhikari who accused Shah of rape changes her statement at court

KATHMANDU: Singer Samikshya Adhikari, who had filed a complaint accusing actor Paul Shah of raping her, has changed her statement at the Tanahun District Court on Sunday.

While recording her statement at the court, Adhikari (17) said that the information she gave while filing complaints earlier was false.

According to victim’s lawyer, she has claimed in the court that she lodged the complaint after being provoked by some people.

The girl’s father is scheduled to record his statement in the court tomorrow.

The minor had filed a rape case against actor Paul Shah in the District Police Office, Tanahun on February 23.
