4 arrested on charge of killing Das in Kailali

KATHMANDU: Police have arrested four persons on the charge of murdering 25-year-old Arjun Das in Kailali.

The arrestees have been identified as Sumid Saud, Dilip Das, Manoj Bhandari and Bam Bahadur Bohora.

Police made public all the detainees by organizing a press conference on Friday.

Police said that six others, who have been involved in the incident, are on the run. Police said that they are searching for them.

According to Police, the arrestees have confessed to killing Das.

The body of Das was found tied to a tree in the Amaravati Community Forest with his head chopped off on December 18, 2021.
