1 killed, 2 injured in Bhaktapur motorbike accident

KATHMANDU: A four-month-old infant died and two others sustained injuries when a motorbike they were travelling on met with an accident in Bhaktapur on Tuesday.

The deceased has been identified as Losang Dolma Tamang.

The motorbike (Bagmati Province 02-021 Pa 6762) was heading towards Jagati from Saga when the incident took place at around 3:30 AM this morning.

Critically injured Tamang died during the course of treatment at Neuro Hospital.

Similarly, Buddha Tamang and Susmita Tamang were injured during the incident. They are the parents of the deceased infant.

They are receiving treatment at Dr Iwamura Memorial Hospital in Sallaghari, Bhaktapur.
