One Indian national arrested for robbing 5 tola gold chain in Thamel

KATHMANDU: Police on Monday arrested an Indian national on the charge of robbing a gold chain of five tola from Jyatha street of Thamel in Kathmandu.

The arrestee has been identified as Gunjan Tamang (26) of Sikkim, India. Tamang is currently residing in Lazimpat, Kathmandu.

Police deployed from Durbarmarg nabbed Tamang, who had robbed the gold chain from Umesh Karki,  along with the gold chain from his possession.

Further investigation into the case is underway, police said.
