Talks with Modi will be fruitful, says PM Deuba

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, who is on a three-day official visit to India, said that the meeting with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi would be fruitful.

He said so while addressing a welcome programme organised by the Nepali Embassy in India on Friday.

The Prime Minister said that the visit would help promote bilateral interests in the fields of health, energy and tourism.

He said that it is necessary to take the relationship between Nepal and India to a new height.

Prime Minister Deuba is scheduled to meet his Indian counterpart Modi at Hyderabad House on Saturday afternoon.
