1 killed, 1 injured in Bardiya truck accident

KATHMANDU: A person died on the spot and another sustained injuries when a truck they were travelling in met with an accident at Deurali in Bansagadhi municipality-1 of Badriya district on Monday.

The identities of the deceased and the injured are yet to be ascertained, police said.

The incident took place when the truck (Lu 2 Kha 873) turned turtle and fell down some 60 metres down the road at around 9:30 am today.

The injured has been sent to the Medical College Teaching Hospital in Kohalpur, police said.

Police are further investigating the case.
