Chinese Foreign Minister to arrive on Friday for a three-day visit

KATHMANDU: Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi will be arriving in Nepal for a three-day official visit on Friday.

He will be visiting Nepal at the invitation of his Nepali counterpart Narayan Khadka from March 25-27, read a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Monday.

During his visit to Nepal, he will pay a courtesy call on President Bidya Devi Bhandari and Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba.

According to the statement, Minister Khadka and his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi’s delegations will hold bilateral talks on March 26.

He is also scheduled to meet CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli and CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal.
