Nepal logs 51 new cases of Covid-19 on Friday

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded 51 new cases of Covid-19 on Friday. No deaths were reported today.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), 2,592 swab samples were tested in the RT-PCR method, of which 12 returned positive. Likewise, 3,322 underwent antigen tests, of which 39 returned positive.

Similarly, the Ministry said that 392 infected people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours.

There are 3,996 active cases of Covid-19 in the country as of today while 106 are in institutionalized quarantine.
