NEPSE surges 1.55 points on Monday

KATHMANDU: The  Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE), the sole secondary market of the country, surged by 1.55 points to close at 2544.94 points on Monday.

Similarly, the sensitive index rose 2.41 points to close at 492.53 points.

A total of 5,315,292 units of the shares of 230 companies were traded for Rs 2.60 billion.

Meanwhile, Buddhabhumi Nepal Hydropower Company Limited (BNHC) was the top gainer today with its price surging by 5.89 points. Panchthar Power Company Ltd. was the top loser today as its price fell by 6.90 points.
