Govt decides to provide free PCR tests for people going abroad for work

KATHMANDU: The government has decided to provide a free PCR test facility for people going overseas for employment. 

A minister-level meeting held today under the chairmanship of Health Minister Birod Khatiwada took the decision in this regard, said Minister Khatiwada’s press advisor, Shantaram Bidari. 

People going abroad for work can now undergo PCR tests without any cost after completing all necessary procedures. 

The free PCR test is available at Bir Hospital, Sahid Sukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital and National Public Health Laboratory. RSS
