Nepal records 318 fresh Covid-19 cases, 1 death on Thursday

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded 318 new cases of Covid-19 along with one death on Thursday.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population, a total of 7,743 samples were tested in the last 24 hours.

The Ministry said that 5,508 tests were conducted in the RT-PCR, of which 151 returned positive.

Likewise, 2,235 underwent antigen tests, of which 167 returned positive.

Similarly, the Ministry said that 562 infected people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours.

There are 9,678 actives cases of Covid-19 as of today.

Meanwhile, 115,406 people have received Covid-19 vaccines in a single day.
