CPN (MC), CPN (US) cadres clash with police personnel in New Baneswor (With photos)

KATHMANDU: Cadres of various sister organisations of the CPN (Maoist Centre) and CPN (Unified Socialist) clashed with Police personnel at New Baneshwor on Thursday.

They staged a demonstration against Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) this afternoon.

Security personnel deployed in the area lobbed tear gas canisters after the protestors tried to cross the prohibited area.

Some police personnel and the anti-MCC protestors were injured in the clash.
