Chinese national among 37 nabbed for operating online gambling den in Old Baneshwor

KATHMANDU:Police arrested 37 persons including a Chinese national for operating an online gambling den from Old Baneshwor of Kathmandu on Monday.

Acting on a tip-off, a team deployed from the Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu rounded up 37 staffers of the Baneshwor-based Lewan Group of Company.

A Chinese national and 13 women are among those who were arrested last night.

The monthly salary of the Nepalis working in the company is around Rs 20,000.
