Former national football team captain Hari Khadka found guilty in fake certificate case

KATHMANDU: Former national football team captain Hari Khadka has been found guilty in a fake certificate case.

Earlier, the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) had filed a case at the Special Court against Khadka saying that he submitted a fake certificate while joining the Nepal Police.

A joint bench of judges of Special Court Abdul Ajij Musalman and Nintyananda Pandey claimed that Khadka had submitted a fake certificate while joining the Nepal Police.

According to deputy registrar and spokesperson of the Special Court Dipendra Nath Yogi, Khadka has been charged under the Prevention of Corruption Act 2017 and ordered to pay a fine of Rs 5, 000.
