House meeting postponed till Friday after endorsing condolence motion

KATHMANDU: The meeting of the Legislature-Parliament has been postponed till Friday after endorsing the report of Tharu Commission and a condolence motion.

Though the government was supposed to table the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) in the Parliament today, the agenda was not included in the list due to the protest of CPN (Maoist Centre).

A meeting of the Business Advisory Committee held to forge consensus on the MCC this morning ended without making any concrete decision.

Meanwhile, the main opposition CPN-UML boycotted the meeting.

The party obstructed the Parliament meeting today as well.
