Nepal records 680 fresh Covid-19 cases, 2 deaths on Tuesday

KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded 680 new cases of Covid-19 along with 2 deaths on Tuesday.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), a total of 7,095 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. Of which, 4,256 swab samples were tested through the RT-PCR method while 2,839 underwent antigen tests.

Similarly, the Ministry said that 1,835 infected people have recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours.

A total of 43,881 people have received the vaccines against the virus in a single day.

There are 19,400 active cases of Covid-19 as of today.

Likewise, Kathmandu Valley reported a total of 209 new cases in the past 24 hours. Of them, 171 cases are reported in Kathmandu, 24 in Lalitpur and 15 in Bhaktapur.
