Nepal records 1,570 fresh Covid-19 cases , 13 deaths on Monday

KATHMANDU: Nepal has recorded 1,570 new cases of Covid-19 along with 13 deaths on Monday.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), a total of 11,365 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.

The Ministry said that 7,874 tests were conducted in the RT-PCR, of which 1,022 returned positive. Likewise, 3,491 underwent antigen tests, of which 548 tested positive.

Similarly, the Ministry said that 6,146 infected people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours.

There are 40,111 active cases in the country as of today.
