KMC to administer second dose of Pfizer vaccine from tomorrow

KATHMANDU: The Kathmandu Metropolitan City (KMC) has decided to administer the second dose of Pfizer vaccine against the coronavirus from  February 7-17.

A meeting of the District Vaccine Coordination Committee held on Friday had decided to the children with Pfizer vaccine from tomorrow.

According to a notice issued by Balram Tripathi, Chief at the Department of Health in KMC. the vaccination program will be conducted on all days except Saturday from 10 am to 4 pm on the scheduled date.

The children between 12-17 years of age, who received the first dose of the Pfizer vaccine three weeks ago, will be administered the second dose. So, the children of this age group should visit the nearby vaccination centre carrying the vaccination card.

The vaccine centres will be fixed at nearby schools by the vaccine coordination committee of all 32 wards. RSS
