Nepal logs 1,714 fresh Covid-19 cases, 9 deaths on Saturday
KATHMANDU: Nepal recorded 1,714 new Covid-19 cases and nine deaths on Saturday.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), a total of 8,513 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours.
The Ministry said that 5,225 tests were conducted in the RT-PCR, of which 1,103 returned positive. Likewise, 3,288 people underwent antigen tests, of which 611 tested positive.
There are 52,780 active cases in the country as of today.
Similarly, the Ministry said that 4,771 infected people recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours.
Meanwhile, 316 new cases have been reported in Kathmandu, 104 in Lalitpur and 43 in Bhaktapur today.
