Nepal records 2,526 new cases of Covid-19, 16 deaths on Friday

KATHMANDU: Nepal has recorded as many as 2,526 new cases of Covid-19 along with 16 deaths on Friday.

According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), a total of 11,073 tests were conducted in the past 24 hours while 8,425 infected people recovered from the virus.

There are currently 56,457 active cases of the Covid-19 across the country.

Likewise, Kathmandu valley has reported a total of 745 new cases of Covid-19 in the past 24 hours. Of them, Kathmandu, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur reported 570, 120 and 55 new cases respectively.
