Nepal logs 3,637 new Covid-19 cases, 12 deaths on Wedesday
KATHMANDU: Nepal has recorded as many as 3,637 new Covid-19 cases along with 12 deaths on Wednesday.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population (MoHP), a total of 11,582 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours. Of them, 3,637 were tested positive for Covid-19.
Similarly, 7,555 infected people got recovered from the virus in the past 24 hours.
At present, there are currently 69,291 active cases of coronavirus in the country.
During a regular press briefing organized by the Ministry of Health and Population, Spokesperson Sangita Mishra said that out of the confirmed positive cases, 80 percent were found infected with Omicron variant while remaining with Delta variant of the coronavirus.
