CSC discusses security concerns for local level elections (With video)

KATHMANDU: A meeting of the Central Security Committee (CSC) on Wednesday chaired by Home Minister Bal Krishna Khand discussed the proposed security management and preparations for the local level election.

Home Ministry Spokesperson Fanindra Mani Pokharel shared that the meeting discussed the security management and current security situation in the local level election proposed by the Election Commission for May 18.

During the meeting, Lieutenant General Bal Krishna Karki of the Nepal Army, Inspector General of Nepal Police Shailesh Thapa, Inspector General of the Armed Police Force Shailendra Khanal and Chief Investigation Director of the National Investigation Department Yadulal Kharel expressed their views on the security tools and arrangements required for the election.
