1 killed, 1 injured in Hetauda bus-motorbike collison

MAKWANPUR: A person died and another sustained injury in a bus-motorbike collision at Ratomate in Hetauda Sub-metropolitan-15 along the East-West Highway on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as Shiva Prasad Subedi (37) of Bakaya Rural Municipality Ward No. 7, Devendra Das, Inspector at the District Police Office, Makwanpur, said. Subedi was the rider of the two-wheeler.

The incident occurred when a bus (Na 6 Kha 8425) heading towards Hetauda from Bara and a motorbike (No. 02-025 Pa 3081) collided with each other.

Critically injured Subedi breathed his last while undergoing treatment at the Hetauda Hospital.

Similarly, Thanak Prasad Dulal( 46) of Dolakha was injured during the incident. He is undergoing treatment at Chure Hill Hospital, Hetauda-11.

Police said that they have arrested the bus driver for further investigation. RSS
