Sandeep Lamichhane selected for IPL 2022’s Mega Auction

KATHMANDU: Nepal national cricket team captain Sandeep Lamichhane has been selected for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022’s Mega Auction with a base price of INR 40 Lakhs.

A total of 15 Nepali players had registered for the mega auction of IPL 2022. Out of which Sandip Lamichhane was selected from Nepal.

Lamichhane is the first Nepali cricketer to play in the Indian Premier League.

On Dec 15, the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) had picked all-rounder Sandeep Lamichhane as the new captain of the Nepal national cricket team.
