1 killed, 7 injured in Kanchanpur motorbike-autorickshaw collison

KAILALI : A person died and seven others sustained injuries when a motorbike and an auto-rickshaw collided head-on at Punarbas municipality-3 in Kanchanpur on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Rajendra Sunar(35). He was the driver of the autorickshaw.

Critically injured Sunar breathed his last during the course of treatment, Kailash Singh Bista, Inspector at the Area Police Office, Tribhuwanbasti, said.

Similarly, motorbike rider Rambhajan Rana and pillion rider Radheshyam Rana were injured during the incident. They both are receiving treatment in the hospital.

In the same way, Akash BK, Ashish Bk, Raghubir Sunar, Karuna Sunar and Parbati Sunar also sustained injuries when the incident occurred. They all were travelling in the autorickshaw.

Police are further investigating the case.
