Nepal recieves over 1.6 million doses of Moderna vaccine through COVAX

KATHMANDU: Nepal received more than 1.6 million doses of Moderna vaccine on Monday. 

The government procured the vaccine through the COVAX facility with financial support from the World Bank. 

More than  2.34 million doses of Moderna vaccine will arrive in Nepal on Tuesday.

The government has decided to administer the vaccine to the children.
