Vaccination card mandatory for Nepalis applying for Europe visa from January 21

KATHMANDU: Germany has made Covid-19 vaccination card mandatory for the Schengen and national visa of Europe.

The German Embassy in Kathmandu said that it has rejected the applications of  Nepali visa applicants who have not been vaccinated.

Issuing a statement on Monday, the Embassy said that it has cancelled visa appointments of the Nepali applicants who are not vaccinated against Covid-19.

Those who are vaccinated against the coronavirus will only be able to apply for the visa from January 21, the statement read.
