3 secretaries among 40 staffers of Prime Minister’s office test positive for Covid-19

KATHMANDU: As many as 40 staffers including three secretaries of the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers have been tested positive for Covid-19.

Out of 200 staffers, 40 have been tested positive for Covid-19, the office of the Prime Minister said.

Secretaries Sishir Kumar Dhungana, Ram Prasad Thapaliya and Krishna Bahadur Raut among 40 among others were tested positive for novel coronavirus, Joint Secretary Mahadev Pantha, who is also the spokesperson of the office, said.

Similarly, Joint Secretary Manoj Acharya and two other joint secretaries have also been tested positive.
