Woman arrested with 10 kg Hashish in Birgunj

JANAKPURDHAM: Police on Wednesday arrested a woman in possession of 10 kg hashish in Birgunj.

The arrestee has been identified as Ranju Devi Shah (45) of Pipariya (Paroha) Municipality-9, Rautahat.

Police arrested Shah with the contraband drug during a regular security check at Shankaracharya Gate in Birgunj Metropolitan City-16, the District Police Office, Parsa said.

Police said that they rounded up Shah while she was heading towards Raxaul.

Further investigation into the case is underway.
