NEPSE surges by 54.12 points on Thursday

KATHMANDU: The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) gained 54.12 points to close at 2,857.75 points on Tuesday, the last trading day of the week.

Meanwhile, a total of 11,834,216 unit shares of 224 companies were traded for Rs 6. 66 billion.

Similarly, the sensitive index increased by 8.94 points to close at 530.83 points.

In today’s market, all sub-indices saw green except for Others.

Meanwhile, Madhya Bhotekoshi Jalavidyut Company Limited was the top gainer today, with its price surging by 9.98 percent. Nabil Debenture was the top loser as its price fell by 2.03 percent

At the end of the day, total market capitalisation stood at Rs 4.04 trillion.
