3 go missing as landslide buries excavator in Dhanding

DHADING: At least three persons have gone missing after a landslide buried an excavator at Rubi Valley Rural Municipality-1 in Dhading on Thursday.

The incident occurred when the excavator was digging a road this morning, Superintendent of Police (SP) Rakesh Singh of the District Police Office, Dhading, said.

The identities of the missing persons have not been ascertained yet. However, the preliminary investigation suggested that the driver, his helper and a member of the Consumer Committee have gone missing in the incident.

SP Singh said that a police team has been deployed to search the missing persons.
