CPN (MC) general convention: Central Committee to fix number of office bearers

KATHMANDU: The CPN (Maoist Centre) has decided to increase the number of office bearers as per the need.

Dev Gurung, the proposer of draft constitution amendment, has proposed in the closed session that the responsibility to increase the office bearers should be given to the Central Committee

Responding to the questions raised on his proposal on Saturday, Gurung said that the Central Committee will increase the number of office bearers as per the need by maintaining the number of posts

Similarly, he also proposed to increase the percentage to nominate the central members from 10 to 15.

There will be 299 central members.
