CPN (Unified Socialist) and CPN (Janabadi) unite (With photos)

KATHMANDU: CPN (Unified Socialist) and CPN (Janabadi) have announced their unification on Tuesday.

Madhav Nepal, who formed a new party after he split from the CPN-UML and CPN (Janabadi) led by Devendra Singh Mahata announced the merger amidst a programme organised in the Capital this afternoon. CPN (Janabadi) is the splinter of Maoist party.

Januka Shrestah, Himal Chandra Kharel, Sadhuram Chaulagain, Shyam Bahadur Budha, Chattra Lakhe, Binod Thapa and Mina Giri along with Devendra Singh Mahata joined the CPN (Unified Socialist).
