2 Indian nationals nabbed with over 800 gram gold from TIA

KATHMANDU: Police on Wednesday arrested two Indian nationals in possession of more than 800 gram gold from Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA).

The arrestees have been identified as Irshad Ahmed (35) and Mohammad Saed Ibrahim(32).

A police team deployed from the TIA arrested the duo with the gold during a security check at the arrival area of the TIA. They landed in Kathmandu from Dubai.

Police have sent the duo along with the confiscated gold to the customs office at TIA for further investigation.
