1 killed, 14 injured in Parbat bus-tractor collision

PARBAT: A man died and 14 others were injured in a bus-tractor collision at Kushma Municipality-8 in Parbat district on Saturday.

The deceased has been identified as Bishal Lamichhane of Chaubandi Rural Municipality in Udayapur district. Lamichhane was travelling in the tractor with the incident occured, police said.

The injured have been taken to Parbat and Pokhara for treatment, said Inspector Rajendra Adhikari.

The bus (Ga 1 Ja 0098) was heading towards Parbat from Pokhara when it collided head-on with the tractor (Ko 2 Ta 6427) this morning, he said.

Police have impounded the bus and arrested its driver for investigation. RSS
