3 of single family die of suffocation in Dolakha

DOLAKHA: Three persons of a single family were found dead at Jhule in Tamakoshi Municipality-2, Dolakha on Wednesday.

Shyam Tamang (27), his wife Ambika Tamang (26) and their five-year-old daughter were found dead while asleep this morning, police said.

A team deployed from the Chaude Police Station found them dead on their bed, DSP Bheshraj Rijal of the District Police Office, Charikot, said.

According to a preliminary investigation, they had burned charcoal in a bid to heat the room by closing the windows and door. Police suspected that they died due to suffocation.
