1 killed, 1 injured in Mahendranagar motorbike accident

JANAKPURDHAM: A person died and another sustained injuries after a motorbike they were riding on met with an accident at Mahendranagar in Janakpur- Dhalkebar section on Wednesday.

The deceased has been identified as bike rider Bijaya Morbaita Yadav (23) of Kamala Municipality-3, Dhanusha. Police said that pillion rider Alok Chaudhary was injured in the accident.

The incident occurred while they were heading towards their home from Kathmandu on the motorbike (Ja 13 Pa 5225) this morning, police said.

Critically injured in the incident, Yadav was rushed to the provincial hospital in Janakpur but doctors pronounced him dead on arrival, the Area Police Office Mahendranagar said.
