2 killed as tractor turns turtle in Morang

MORANG: Two persons died when a tractor turned turtle at Kaseni in Belbari Municipality of Morang district on Monday.

The deceased have been identified as Bijay Hemran (22) and Avinash Manandi (17) of Rangeli municipality-1, Morang. Critically injured in the incident, the duo breathed their last in the course of treatment at the Koshi Hospital in Biratnagar. Both of them were the helpers of the tractor.

The incident occurred when the tractor (2 Ta 8688) was trying to head towards the road after plowing the field of Indra Darji yesterday.

The Area Police Office, Belbari said that they have arrested the tractor driver Aiti Satar Tudu (27) of Rangeli Municipality-1 and impounded the four-wheeler for investigation,
