3 killed, 3 injured in Rolpa jeep accident

DANG: Three persons were killed and the other three sustained injuries after a jeep they were travelling in met with an accident in Rolpa on Sunday.

According to the Deputy Superintendent of Police(DSP) of Rolpa District Police Office, Naresh Raj Subedi, two males and a female died on the spot when the jeep heading towards Gharti of Rolpa from Madi Gaonpalika-6 met with an accident at around 11 am today.

The identities of the deceased are yet to be ascertained, Subedi said.

The injured have been taken to the hospital for treatment informed the police.

Police said that the reason behind the accident is unknown and further investigation is going on.
