Nat’l Census 2021: PM urges people to help formulate policies by providing correct details

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba on Thursday appealed to the general public to provide accurate information to make the national census a great success.

Prime Minister Deuba urged all the citizens to provide accurate information required for the national census through a video message prior to the commencement of the population census.

The national census will start from today. The enumerators will reach each household after 9 am today.

The Prime Minister appealed to the general public to play an important role by providing correct information which will be essential for the policy making of the nation.

Saying that the population census will not only count the people but will help to sketch a roadmap of the country’s development, Prime Minister Deuba said that the census is a pillar of information needed to formulate appropriate policies for the development of the country.
