1 killed as truck hits scooter in Lalitpur

KATHMANDU: A man died when a truck hit a scooter he was riding on in Gwarko of Lalitpur on Thursday.

The deceased has been identified as Swapnil Lama of Kavrepalanchok.

Critically injured Lama was rushed to the B&B Hospital for treatment but doctors pronounced him dead on arrival, the Metropolitan Police Range, Lalitpur said.

The truck (NA 6 Kha 1933) hit the scooter( Ba 31 Pa 774) this morning.
