3 dead, 1 injured in Jajarkot tractor accident

JAJARKOT: Three persons died and one sustained injures when a tractor met with an accident in Jajarkot on Wednesday.

The tractor was heading to Sepukhola of Barekot Rural Municipality from Kalimati of Nalgad Municipality when it fell off the road in Nalgad Municipality-5, Jhulkedanda this morning.

The deceased have been identified as Chanka Lal BK (35), Suresh Khatry (25), and Bal Bahadur Khatry (62) of Nalgad Municipality-5. Binod Pariyar ( 17), a helper of the tractor, of Nalgad Municipality-8 was injured in the incident.

Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Madhu Kumar Thapa said that the injured is in critical condition.

The registration number of the tractor is yet to be found, police said.
